Dr. David Regiani, DDS PC

Dr. David Regiani has been on the cusp of modern dentistry for more than 25 years.
After graduating for the University of Detroit’s School of Dentistry in 1978, (where he earned a bachelor’s degree in biology in addition to studies in immunology) he sought a community outside of Detroit. Regiani selected Ortonville and in 91 days after arriving completed renovations to the home at 101 South St. in the downtown area.
Today Regiani’s dental practice is firmly established in the community. His continued support of the community includes major contributions to local civic and educational groups, from sponsoring T-ball teams to funding an outdoor elementary classroom.
Regiani’s dedication to the community is parallel in his leadership roll in the science of density.
Regiani was one of the first mercury-free dentists in the state, and is known internationally as a leader in dental science and research concerning materials used in dental care. The same changing technology that produced the MP3 player and satellite radio has helped improve the diagnosis and treatment of dental disease.
Regiani also uses digital X-rays which reduce radiation by as much as 50 percent The X-rays are cleaner, larger and can even be reproduced in color says Regiani. In addition, patients can watch TV or their favorite DVD during the examination with color monitors at each chair. He also uses a small wand called a ‘Diagnodent? to examine cavitates rather than X-rays. Another device looks for corrosive tooth decay.
‘We are moving to the next level of patient communications by enhancing the individuals dental education,? said Regiani. ‘By taking the mystery out of the procedure our patients are more comfortable. People want to know what is being used and why and how it may affect their overall health. I look at the whole person, not just their teeth.?
He is a graduate of the Las Vegas Institute Cosmetic Dentistry (1995) and he’s certified in Invisalign orthodontics.
