Wolves wins two on diamond

The Clarkston baseball team was 2-0 last week with wins against Farmington Harrison and Rochester Adams.
The Wolves knocked off Harrison 3-2. Aaron Powell went six innings and allowed two runs, while Matt Orris picked up the win in relief.
‘It was a really great game,? Clarkston coach Phil Price said. ‘There wasn’t much hitting.?
Clarkston followed the win up with a shutout against the Highlanders. Bobby Slaughter got the win after throwing a compete game shutout. Slaughter struck out six in seven innings.
‘He really pitched an outstanding game,? Price said. ‘The game was only an hour and a half long. It was really well played.?
Derek Ranck had two hits and two RBI for the Wolves. Jono Moehlig added a hit and two walks while scoring two runs.
Clarkston is currently 13-6 on the season.
