Wojo’s Greenhouse to host wellness expo

Julie Wojciechowski said she has first-hand experience with the benefits of a holistic lifestyle.
With that in mind, the co-owner of Wojo’s Greenhouse, 2750 Oakwood, Ortonville, is helping to put together Wojo’s first ever Community Wellness Expo Saturday, May 8 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
Wojciechowski said about 13 to 14 businesses will be sponsoring booths at the expo, designed to bring holistic information to the community.
‘A lot of the information I’ve found out through my own health issues,? she said. ‘I’ve had success with health therapies. Many holistic things work along with traditional medicine.?
Among the presenters at the expo will be Dr. James Neuenschwander of Holistic Medical Clinic, chiropractor Dr. Virgil Love, and Ortonville dentist Dr. David Regiani.
Wojciechowski said except for a small fee Regiani may charge at his booth (where he will use a machine that measures antioxidant levels), the expo is free of charge.
The hosts at the various booths will sponsor such activities as free mini-healing touch sessions, homeopathic evaluations, iridology counseling (studying the iris in the eye), and massage therapy.
Wojciechowski said the expo will have Tai Chi demonstrations between 2 and 3 p.m., and there will be children’s activities, such as clowns and face painting, to keep the younger crowd entertained while their parents attend the expo.
She also said interested parties are encouraged to bring their questions to the expo, as well as their current supplements for expo presenters to evaluate and determine their effectiveness.
