“Martian Victory Balls”

Ingredients:
1 tablespoon and 1 3/4 teaspoon butter
1/2 cup and 1 tablespoon and 2 teaspoons peanut butter
1 1/2 cup and 2 tablespoon confectioner’s sugar
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon almond extract
Handful of semi-sweet chocolate chips
Approximately 2 cups melting chocolates

Directions:
1. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Combine the butter, peanut butter, confectioner’s sugar, cinnamon and almond extract. Cream together and knead well.
2. Roll the dough into 1 inch balls and press 1-2 chocolate chips into each ball.
3. Bake for 2 ,minutes (to melt chocolate chips). While balls are baking, melt melting chocolates in double-boiling pan.
4. Allow the balls to cool for a few minutes, then dip them into the melting chocolate and place on wax paper.
5. Decorate and enjoy!

Apple Pie

Serves 8

Pie Crust:
Mix 3 cups flour to 1 level cup of butterflavor or white shortening. Mix well.
Mix together 1 egg, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon vinegar, 1/2 cup of cool water.
Add to flour mixture until sticks together in a ball. Then divide into six pieces.
Roll out two balls of pie crust for pie plate, for the top and bottom.
Put one in pie plate then add apple mixture.
Slice 1/2 stick of butter sliced over apple and add 2 to 3 tablespoons of lemon juice.
Put top on and flute/slash top of pie crust.
Bake for 55 to 60 minutes (depending on the thickness of pie)

Apple Mixture:
6 to 7 cups of variety of apples, peeled and cored then sliced thinly.
Mix together 3/4 cup of sugar (or a little more depending on the size of apple)
Add 5 to 6 tablespoons of flour, 1 to 2 teaspoon of apple pie spoice.
Add to apples, pour into pie plate
