If you visit the Oxford Public Library March 14, you just might see some famous rock stars dressed in their trademark wild costumes and sporting weird makeup.
Well, not the actual performers, but definitely fans dressed up like their favorite rock legends from Gene Simmons to Slash to Buckethead.
They’ll be participating in the Guitar Hero Tournament scheduled for 2 p.m.
This will be the second time the library has hosted such a tournament.
This time they have new and improved brackets for the tournament.
Sorry, no hyperspeed or cheat codes are allowed.
Besides competing for skill, contestants will also be judged on their costumes.
Officials do ask that the costumes be kept ‘clean.?
