Track teams compete against Adams, Harrison

The Clarkston High School boys track team knocked off Rochester Adams but lost to Harrison in a dual meet last week. The Wolves beat Adams 107-19 and lost to Harrison 67-61.
Taking first place in both competitions for the Wolves were Oltman in the 200; Sitko in the 3200; Reigel in the shot put and Meissnest in the discus.
In an earlier meet, the Wolves lost to West Bloomfield 74-54 and Rochester 65-63.
Taking first place against West Bloomfield included Elmore, 1600 run; Quisenberry, long jump and Kessler, high jump. Finishing in first place against Rochester was Baeton, 100 hurdles; Tolbert, 400 dash; Crane, 300 hurdles; Riegel, shot put and Baeton, discus.
The girls track team beat Adams 82-36 and Harrison 91-37. Individuals placing first in both events included Parkin, 100 hurdles; Jones, 100 M; Rota, 400 dash; Randall, 300 hurdles; Ultman, 3200 run; Wilson, high jump and Parkin long jump.
The Wolves were also able to beat West Bloomfield, 83-45, and Rochester, 87-41, in earlier action.
Clarkston was paced by first place finishers including Parkin, 100 hurdles; Kuhta, 1600 run; Randall, 300 hurdles; Smith, 800 run; Nordquist, 3200 run; Parkin, long jump and Wilson in the high jump.
In other action, Clarkston won the Muskrat Classic with 132 points. Their closest competition was L’Anse Creuse North with 96 points.
