The Oxford Varsity boys and girls track team is on a roll after their two wins last week against Lapeer West and Clio.
The girl’s team won 98-34 against West last Tuesday. They dominated first place in almost all but one event.
Natalie Lukas took first in the 100 meter hurdles, Jacque Magdaleno took first in the 3200-meter run and Shaunte Waller took first in both discus and shot put.
The boy’s team defeated West 90-38 and took first place in all but three events.
Nick Collier had a stunning 10.94 seconds on the 100 meter dash, Adam Richmond placed first in the 800 meter run and Eric Shipman came out on top in the long jump.
In Thursday’s meet against Clio, the girl’s team soared above their competetors, 109-25, again taking first place in all but one event.
Kayle Parker placed first in the high jump, Taylor Dewey placed first in the 800 meter run and Aleese Darin took first in the 400 meter dash.
The boys defeated Clio 87-50, with Russ Francis taking first in shot put, Zach Gunnels taking first in discus and took the first three places in the 110 meter hurdles with Kam Mueller, Brad Grunewald and Eric Kubina.
The Oxford Varsity boys and girls track team will have an invitational at the high school at 9:30 a.m., Saturday, May 13.
