Too many 911 calls

A Poplar Road man was involuntarily committed to Pontiac Osteopathic Hospital for detoxification on April 12, after the Oakland County Sheriff’s Department was called to his home for multiple 911 calls.
According to an OCSD report, the 45-year-old man called 911 a number of times. When deputies arrived at his home, they reported the man was agitated and seemed extremely intoxicated.
A deputy said the man told him to get on the floor, because there might be people outside, and said there might be terrorists outside.
Deputies decided the man should go to the hospital after having him take a Breathalyzer test, and he was taken there by ambulance.
