LAKE ORION — Three members of Lake Orion’s Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee were reappointed by the village council in a 6-0 vote during a meeting on April 22. Village council President Jerry Narsh was absent.
The following members agreed to, and were reappointed to two-year terms that will expire on March 31, 2026: Vice Chair Jody Hand, committee member Erin Crane and secretary Cristy Garbacik.
Motions to recommend reappointing the members were passed unanimously during a Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee meeting on March 19. Committee member and village council member Teresa Rutt created the motions and committee Chairperson Rosemary Ford seconded them.
Rutt said the members “work hard and try to do a lot for our parks with the limited resources that they have.”
