Three car pile-up slows traffic downtown

A 41-year-old Otter Lake woman was transported to POH Medical Center in Pontiac after receiving serious injuries from a three-car accident that occurred around 1:20 p.m. Dec. 19 in downtown Oxford.
A 26-year-old Orchard Lake man driving a 2002 Chrysler sedan was stopped in the far northbound lane trying to make a left turn at S. Washington and Ensley streets as a 41-year-old Oxford woman, driving a 1993 Chevy pick-up truck waited behind her.
The Otter Lake woman, who was driving a 1992 Chrysler mini-van, failed to stop in an assured distance and rear-ended the pick-up, which then rear-ended the sedan.
