A homeowner on Baldwin Road recently returned from vacation to find that someone had broken into his home, and stolen guns and gold coins.
According to an Oakland County Sheriff’s Department report, they responded to the call on July 31.
The man said he had left town for about two weeks, and returned to find his home ransacked.
A large number of guns were taken, as well as other items.
Also missing from the home were approximately $50,000 in gold coins and gold pieces that were kept in a safe.
The OCSD is investigating the incident.
