Theresa Lynn “Tracy” Gezycki, 54, of Lake Orion passed away suddenly on April 5, 2024. She was born on June 22, 1969, in Madison Heights, Michigan.
She is survived by her beloved children, Nerak (fiancé Justin Bora) and Trake Gezycki, and her mother, Kathryn Gezycki.
Tracy was preceded in death by her father, Robert Gezycki, her dog Ollie, and her grandparents Milton and Joan Nathan, John Gezycki and Mary Lou Haddow.
She lived in Berkley, Michigan for the first 10 years of her life before moving to Lake Orion in 1980. She was a 1987 graduate of Lake Orion High School.
Tracy dedicated herself as a stay-at-home mother, finding immense joy in raising her children and witnessing them grow into exceptional adults. Her children were her pride and joy.
Outside of her family life, Tracy enjoyed exploring various hobbies and actively participating in her children’s extracurricular activities. She had a passion for helping others and always lent a helping hand wherever she could. She loved helping at her TTI art class. She loved all dogs no matter what kind but she was not fond of chickens or roosters.
Tracy will forever be remembered for her kindness, love, and the impact she had on those around her. Known to many as a best friend, she touched the lives of many. She will be deeply missed, leaving this world ahead of her time. May she rest in peace.
A celebration party of Tracy’s life is planned for June 1 at the Oxford American Legion, 130 E. Drahner Road, Oxford 48371 from noon until 4 p.m.
