There’s a pie in my eye!

A total of $17,500 was raised by students at Clear Lake Elementary for the PTO’s first ever Fun Run “On the Tracks to Success.”
For one day, over 500 students ran, walked and jogged a total of 7,128 laps.
As a reward for not only reaching, but surpassing the $15,000 goal, the students were given one sweet treat – presenting physical education/health teacher Mark Cavataio with a pie in the face on Friday.
The top pledge gatherer from each class was allowed to throw one delicious cream pie in the face of the beloved educator.
As a special surprise, the top pledge earner was allowed to give Principal Jim Schwarz a little taste of the creamy sweet.
