Stanley achieves Eagle Scout ranking

Adam T. Stanley was presented the Eagle Scout Rank award in a special Court of Honor Ceremony held at the Gingellville Community Church March 28.
Stanley is a member of Lake Orion Troop #12, and has been a scout since he started as a Tiger Cub with Pack 12.
Stanley earned 23 merit badges, including 12 required for the eagle rank. He’s served as junior assistant scoutmaster, troop senior patrol leader, scribe and troop guide.
Stanley’s involvement in his church youth group led to his selection of the Gingellville Community Church as the beneficiary of his leadership service project, where he led a team of workers from his troop in improving a large storage area for his church.
In addition to high-adventure activities with the troop whitewater rafting and caving in Pennsylvania, and several summer camps at Lost Lake and Camp Rotary, Stanley was part of nine-person crew backpacking in the Sangre de Cristo mountains of the Philmont Scout Reservation.
Stanley is an honors senior at Lake Orion High School, a member of the National Honor Society and is graduating in June. He will attend Kettering University in the fall, majoring in engineering. Stanley resides in Lake Orion with his parents, Dave and Donna, and his siblings, Andrew, a first class scout in troop #128, and Amanda.
