St. Joe’s roaring with the twenties

The roaring twenties will be alive and well in St. Joseph School this weekend as the school presents its spring musical, ‘Charleston.?
This musical will feature sixth, seventh and eighth graders in various roles that feature acting, singing and dancing. Highlights of the show include the ‘Ziegfeld Girls,? a choreographed song and dance routine that features over 30 dancers. St. Joseph’s teachers Sherry Brandon and Deborah Grimm, along with help from teachers Mary Ann Wirth and Katie Cudnohufsky, are producing the show.
‘Charleston? will be on stage on Friday and Saturday, May 11 and 12 at 7 p.m. in the school’s gymnasium (St. Thomas Hall).
Tickets are $5, children 5 and under are free. Pre-sale tickets are available at the St. Joseph School office. Tickets of limited quantities will be available at the door prior to each evening’s presentation. Call (248)693-6215 for more information.
