The boys are back and ready to swim in their first season in Division 1.
This year’s team is the largest Coach Kenwyn Chock has seen so far with 24 swimmers and four divers.
‘It should be competitive,? she said. ‘It should be fun. The boys have the numbers and like the girls team, we will send swimmers to states again.?
The team has 12 boys returning ? including record-breakers Jake Rush and Jordan Zendejas. The first meet is Thursday at Clarkston High School against Troy-Athens. It begins at 6 p.m.

Bowlers begin their season on Wednesday.
They will compete against North Farmington at 3:30 p.m.
They will host their first home match next Wednesday at Cherry Hills Lanes North. It begins at 4 p.m.

Clarkston Girls Volleyball continues to reign over the league. A trip to Bloomfield Hills Lahser ended in a victory, 3-2.
The team now has a 4-1 record in the OAA I and 20-5-1 overall.
The girls travel to Rochester Adams on Thursday before hosting Troy Athens next Tuesday.
JV plays at 5:30 p.m. varsity plays at 7 p.m.

The girls will compete in the Oakland County meet at Lake Orion on Saturday beginning at 9 a.m.
Their next dual meet is at Bloomfield Hills Lahser next Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.
Girls track team continued their winning streak and beat Troy, 65-63.
The girls took first in eight events.
Autumn Touchstone in 100 meter hurdles and 300 meter hurdles; Devon Rehm in shot put and discus; Stephanie Thorstad in long jump; Megan McCarty and Thorstad tied in the high jump; Johanna Kupe, Rebecca Culver, Thorstad, and Touchstone in 800 meter relay.

Kyle Rivenburgh took first place in 100 meter hurdles; Duane George in 100 meter dash; Erik Thompson in long jump; Jon Golden, Aaron Sharp, Kamil Dechnik and George in 800 meter relay.

During their Berkley Invitational on Saturday, the girls team took 11th place with 16 points, and the boys tied with Rochester in 13th place with 14 points.
Thorstad took second in high jump and Touchstone placed second in 300 meter hurdles.
Thompson placed third in long jump and Rivenburgh, Sharp, George, and Thompson were third in 400 relay.

Varsity golf continues to lead the OAA with an undefeated, 3-0. They beat Lasher on April 21, 155-165.
Leaders for the match were Matt Fuller (38), Jordan Roth (38), Tommy Ronk (39) and Zach Rogers (40).
They host Lake Orion on Friday.
