Blackhawk track sweep relays
The Brandon Blackhawks track team won the New Lothrop relays on April 26. The Blackhawks were up against Montrose, Byron, Sanford-Meridian, Mt. Morris and New Lothrop. The Brandon boys came in first place with a final score of 120, Montrose followed behind Brandon with 88, Byron came in third with 71, Sanford-Meridian was in fourth with 64, Mt. Morris took fifth (55), and New Lothrop came in last with 21 points.
The Brandon girls once again ran their way to a first place finish with a final score of 126. Sanford-Meridian came in second (94), New Lothrop in third (65), Mt. Morris in fourth (62), Byron in fifth (36), and Montrose followed closely behind in seventh place with 34 points.
The Blackhawks run at Swartz Creek High School at 4 p.m. on May 7.

Boys, girls Martian track team tops at meet
The Goodrich varsity boys and girls track teams both had successful meets against Lake Fenton and Beecher. The girls won 107-29 over Lake Fenton, and 112-28 over Beecher High School. The boys won 103-34 against Lake Fenton, and also won against Beecher 105-33. For the girls 3200 meter relay, Goodrich runners Haiderer, Jung, Belanger, and Pugue had a time of 10:50. For the boys 3200 meter relay, Goodrichs? Bradburn, Sesock, Brandon and Warden had a time of 9:09. Goodrich is 2-1 and 1-0 in the Genesee Area Conference. The Martians will run against Bentley at Durand at 4 p.m. on May 8.
