Members of Lake Orion’s Sons of the American Legion showed their generosity last Saturday, collecting and distributing holiday packages to 12 local families.
Sons member and Squadron #233 Historian, Corey Irons, said the organization traditionally ‘adopts? selected families to assist during the holidays.
He said the gift packages include donated items along with toys and other items purchased with money raised from raffles and auctions.
‘Everything went very well,? said Irons. ‘It’s something we like to do every year to help out.?
