Dr. Dehaan’s team from Lake Orion Girls Softball, junior division, have done it again. The girls haven’t lost a game in two years, making their record 29-0, including tournament day.
These girls have managed to stay together with the same team, becoming champions again. This season alone, the other teams only scored nine runs on the team in all the games.
‘This gives great credit to our defense,? said coach Keith Phillips. ‘Our team always gives out awards at the end of the season, and this year Sarah Rose won ‘Most Improved Player.?
‘I couldn’t ask for a better group of girls than I’ve had the past two years,? he said.
