The Oxford-Brandon Varsity ski team’s season is underway, with the boys standing 2-3 and the girls 0-4.
Team captains are Justin Hickmott and Caroline Kerbelis.
At the Jan. 30-31 meet in Grand Blanc, the girls beat Fenton 16-25 in the slalom, but lost to Grand Blanc, Flushing, Powers and Holly. In the giant slalom, the girls lost every race.
The boys slalom race saw three wins against Holly (13-20), Powers (15-21) and Fenton (14-22). In the giant slalom, the boys lost all but one race against Powers (17.5-18.5).
The team heads to regionals on Thursday, Feb. 14, in Grand Blanc beginning at 9 a.m.
