Goodrich Area Schools will begin accepting applications from students in grades K-12 on May 21 for their school of choice program.
This year, students from Livingston, Shiawassee, Saginaw, Tuscola, Lapeer and Oakland Counties are eligible to apply.
The district will enroll 21 students from these counties, in addition to the 21 they will accept from Genesee County. If more than 21 students apply, a lottery will take place June 18, with parent noticifcation of their child’s status by June 29.

School of Choice
Goodrich Area Schools still have four vacancies in their school of choice program for children living outside of Genesee County.
Applications will be accepted for students in all grades July 23- Aug. 10. Applications are available at the administrative offices in Goodrich High School, 8029 S. Gale Road, and must be returned to the office no later than 4 p.m. on Aug.10.
If more than four applications are submitted, an Aug.13 lottery will determine which students will be admitted to the district. Parents will be notified whether or not their child has been admitted by the end of that day.
