Robert “Donnie” Hall of Lake Orion passed away peacefully on Nov. 14, 2024. He was 73 years old.
Beloved husband of Wilma Rymal Hall for 43 years; loving father of Tracey (Gary) Shepard and the late Douglas Benedict; devoted grandpa of Connor, Spencer, Danny, Henry, Kathy, and the late Tommy; brother of Nancy (Roger) Kibbe; brother-in-law of Eric (Bonnie) Rymal and Jeff Rymal; dear uncle of Andrea (Jason) and Kristy (Tim).
Donnie was born Feb. 16, 1951 in Greenwood, South Carolina to John and Barbara Hall. He was a graduate of Lake Orion High School and a veteran of the U.S. Army. Donnie worked as an auctioneer for the family business, Halls Auction in Lake Orion for many years. He could also be found working at Home Depot in Auburn Hills.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, Nov. 21, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. at Modetz Funeral Home, 100 E. Silverbell Rd., in Orion Township. The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. Inurnment at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly, immediately following the service.
