Anyone with a question about the current status or future of Oxford Community Schools can get it answered on Thursday, June 24 beginning at 7 p.m. in the Oxford High School Performing Arts Center.
Superintendent Dr. William Skilling and members of the Board of Education will be present to answer questions about anything related to the school district.
‘He (Skilling) was going to make himself available to answer any questions about anything that is happening in the district right now and things that people want to know the answers to,? said Colleen Schultz, president of the board of education.
Schultz said that Skilling and the board thought that it was important to provide the people of the community an avenue to ask their questions.
‘Between the bond and everything that is happening with the bond, the new curriculum and the Crossing Bridges program, I think people, especially those who voted on things, deserve to know what is happening,? Schultz said.
She hopes that a lot of people within the community will come to the meeting.
‘There is nothing that makes us all more passionate than when we start talking about our children,? she said.
