Meeting called to order at 6:30 p.m.
Held closed executive session to discuss an attorney opinion letter.
Invocation: Clerk Shults. All rose for the Pledge of Allegiance.
Recognized April as Mental Health Month.
Heard presentation regarding best practices for recycling.
Heard presentation regarding the Homes for Autism program.
Approved the payment of bills in the amount of $866,324.66, payrolls in the amount of $191,200.81, for a total disbursement of funds in the amount of $1,057,525.47.
Approved agenda, as amended. Approved consent agenda, as amended.
Approved Minutes, Regular Meeting, Monday, April 4, 2016.
Adopted RCOC Street Closure Resolution, allowing for the temporary closure Franklin Wright Blvd. and Shorn Dr., in order to hold the OXLO Help Kids Succeed 5K on July 2, 2016.
Awarded 2016 Lawn Fertilization Services Contract to Tru-Green at a cost not to exceed $15,267.00.
Appointed members to the Environmental Resources Committee: Rodney Tocco as voting member, term expiring 12/31/2016; Michael DeLuca as non-voting member, term expiring 12/31/2018; and Jacqueline Carlson as alternate, term expiring 12/31/2016.
Adopted RCOC Street Closure Resolution, allowing for the temporary closure of a portion of Greenshield Road in order to hold the annual Dragon Dash 5K on Sunday, May 15, 2016.
Authorized waiving all Wildwood Amphitheater rental fees associated with the Homes for Autism Fun-Raiser, to be held on June 26, 2015.
Approved application for a fireworks display at Indianwood Golf Club, subject to compliance with all applicable regulations.
Adopted West Nile Virus Program Resolution and authorized participation in the Oakland County reimbursement program.
Adopted Resolution for Approval of MDNR Trust Fund Grant for Clarkston Road Pathway Phase 1A.
Approved request from North Oakland Community Coalition to erect temporary signage on Township property, publicizing their Color Run event on May 7, 2016.
Approved request from ReLeaf Michigan to use Township property (village Fire Station) to sell excess trees & shrubs in conjunction with the Downtown Flower Fair on May 7, 2016.
Authorized Attorney to draft a 1-year agreement and proposed revised police millage language in order to address concerns regarding Village Police funding, with the item to be reconsidered by the Board at the May 2, 2016 meeting.
Received and filed 2016 Solid Waste Hauler Licensing report, as amended.
