Meeting called to order at 7:00 p.m.
Invocation: Pastor Tony Bryson. All rose of the Pledge of Allegiance.
Heard presentation from the Oakland County Kayak Fishermen.
Recognized the 2012-2016 Board members for their contributions to the community.
Approved the payment of bills in the amount of $234,958.92, payrolls in the amount of $120,760.33, for a total disbursement of funds in the amount of $355,719.25.

Authorized OHM to prepare and submit a MDNR Grant application for the replacement of the Joslyn Road Safety Path (segment of the Iron Belle Trail), with grant application service costs not to exceed $3,000.
Scheduled Public Hearing for the 2017 CDBG Annual Grant allocation for Monday, November 21, 2016 at 7:00 p.m.
Postponed second reading of PC-2016-20, Green ES Minor PUD until further notice from applicant.
Authorized posting/advertising part-time Clerk Level 3 position in the Supervisor’s office.
Accepted with gratitude the donation from the Oakland County Kayak Fishermen of several children’s fishing poles, to be used and distributed in an upcoming fishing tournament.
Held second reading and adopted PC-2016-13, Multiple Family Residential Text Amendment to Zoning Ord. #78, Article 2, Section 2.01, and Article 7, Section 7.06.
Held second reading and adopted PC-2016-16, Conditional Rezone Text Amendment to Zoning Ord. #78, Article 30, Section 30.05.
Authorized the waiver of ZBA, sign review, and building permit fees for the Polly Ann Trail Management Council’s sign construction project.
Authorized tuition reimbursement for Lt. EMS Coordinator Chris LaGerould according to all provisions set forth in the Tuition Reimbursement Policy.
Directed the Supervisor sign the agreement with BS&A for financial services software, total cost of $173,655.00, with partial funding to come from a 2016 MMRMA insurance refund; further, authorized all necessary 2016 budget adjustments.
Scheduled Special Meeting for the purpose of a budget work session to be held on November 14, 2016, 7:00 p.m., at Orion Township Hall.
Authorized the Township Attorney to work with the Building Official and Supervisor to address the issue of occupancy changes affecting use permits.
Heard Village Water Distribution System update.
Received and filed the Township-owned property report.
Received and filed the SCS Quarterly Report.
