NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Charter Township of Orion Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing on Monday, August 22, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. in the lower level of the Orion Township Hall, 2525 Joslyn Road, Lake Orion, Michigan 48360, on the following matter:
AB-2016-26, Billie W. and Martina C. Nunnery, 4570 Alan Lane, Sidwell #09-31-426-043
The petitioner is requesting two variances from Zoning Ordinance No. 78, Article XXVII, Section 27.02, A, 8, 1 to 2.5 acres:
1. Maximum Floor Area of Detached Accessory Buildings, requesting: a 152 sq. ft. variance above the allowed 1,000 sq. ft. maximum, to build a 288 sq. ft. detached shed in addition to the existing 864 sq. ft. detached building.
2. Total Maximum Floor Area of All Accessory Buildings, requesting: a 114 sq. ft. variance above the allowed 1,500 sq. ft. maximum, to build a 288 sq. ft. detached shed in addition to the existing 864 sq. ft. detached building and the existing 462 sq. ft. attached garage.
You may send correspondence regarding this case to the Orion Township Hall, addressed to the Zoning Board of Appeals, or you may attend the public hearing to express your views and/or concerns.
A complete copy of the proposed ZBA application is on file in the Planning & Zoning Department and may be examined during normal business hours, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, until the date of the public hearing.
