The annual Oscar Contest, made possible by the Oxford 7 Theater and two local newspapers, lets you pick who will win Best Picture, Best Actor and Actress, Best Supporting Actor and Actress at the 79th Annual Academy Awards Feb. 25.
Make your predictions using the special ballots/entry forms located inside both newspapers.
Then drop them off in the theater lobby on 48 S. Washington St. (One entry per patron, please.)
The lucky first place winner will win 52 pairs of movie passes to the Oxford 7. Second place will will win 52 single passes and a third place will receive 26 single passes.
If there are multiple correct ballots, a random drawing will be held for each place from the correct ballots in each place category. In case a tie-breaker is needed, contestants can pick the winner of the Best Foreign Film.
