Orion Township paid-on-call fire fighters will be getting a pay raise for 2005.
Fire Chief Jeff Key proposed, and the Orion Township Board accepted a pay raise increase for paid-on-call fire fighters from $11 per hour to $12, for personnel who have completed their probationary training requirements.
Key said the pay rate for paid-on-call fire fighters was last increased in January 2003.
