(TRUTH IN BUDGETING)
FOR THE PROPOSED 2006

PARKS & RECREATION BUDGET
The Charter Township of Oxford Board of Trustees will hold a Public Hearing of the proposed 2006 Oxford Township Parks & Recreation Budget on Wednesday, September 28, 2005, at 7:45 p.m. in the evening or as soon thereafter as may be heard at the Oxford Veterans Memorial Civic Center (2nd Floor), 28 N. Washington, Oxford, MI 48371.
The property tax millage rate proposed to be levied to support the proposed budget will be a subject of this hearing.
A copy of the proposed 2006 Oxford Township Parks & Recreation Budget is available and on file in the office of the Oxford Township Supervisor public inspection during normal business hours, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, 18 W. Burdick, Oxford, MI 48371.
This notice is posted in compliance with Public Act 267 of 1976 as amended (Open Meeting Act), MCL 41.72a(2)(3) and the Americans With Disabilities Act.

Please be advised that Oxford Township Parks and Recreation Commission will be accepting bids for Seymour Lake Township Park to install an ADA Asphalt Path. Drawings will be available for CDBG contractors at Oxford Township Parks and Recreation Office, 20 West Burdick Street, Oxford MI 48371 on August 29, 2007. Bids are due in the Parks and Recreation office by Friday, September 14, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. The bids will be opened September 14, 2007 at 4:00 p.m.
Attention: This is a Federally Funded project. The Contractor and Subcontractors on this project must comply with HUD contract provisions 24CFR part 85.36 (i), the Davis-Bacon Act, Non-discrimination, Equal Employment Opportunity, Affirmative Action, Section 3 Requirements, Anti-Kickback Act, Federal Occupational Safety and Health Act and Department of Labor Standards and Regulations as set forth in the Contract Bid Documents. ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
The Oxford Township Parks and Recreation Department will be accepting bids for the construction of a maintenance pole barn and storage facility. Bidding documents will be available to prospective bidders on or after 10:00 am on April 11, 2011, at the office of the Oxford Parks and Recreation Office, 20 West Burdick Street, Oxford MI 48371, for the purchase price of $150.00. The fee includes three sets of drawings per packet. Sealed bids shall be submitted to the parks and recreation office by Friday, April 29, 2011 at 2:00 pm. Bids will be opened on Monday, May 2, 2011 at 10:00 am at the parks and recreation office. For additional information, please contact the Director’s office at 248-628-1720.

of Draft Plan for Public Review and Public Hearing
Oxford Township Parks and Recreation has prepared a draft Parks and Recreation Master Plan and will accept any comments on the plan until September 8, 2009.
The plan, which will guide the future development of parks and recreation in the community can be viewed at the Township Hall (300 Dunlap Road, Oxford, MI 48371), the Library (530 Pontiac Road, Oxford, MI 48371), and at the Township Parks and Recreation offices (20 W. Burdick Street, Oxford, MI 48371).
Your comments can be sent care of Ron Davis to the Oxford Township Parks and Recreation at 20 W. Burdick Street, P.O. Box 170, Oxford, MI 48371.
The Oxford Township Parks and Recreation Commission will hold a public hearing on the final draft of the Parks and Recreation Master Plan at 7:30 p.m., on October 13, 2009 at the Township Parks and Recreation offices located at 20 W. Burdick Street, Oxford, MI 48371.
