FOR THE PURPOSE OF ELECTING CANDIDATES FOR THE FOLLOWING OFFICES:

OXFORD COMMUNITY SCHOOLS BOARD OF EDUCATION:
1. SCHOOL BOARD/VOTE FOR NOT MORE THAN TWO (2)
2. SCHOOL BOARD/PARTIAL TERM ENDING 12/31/2010/VOTE FOR NOT MORE THAN ONE (1)
AND FOR THE PURPOSE OF VOTING ON THE FOLLOWING PROPOSALS:
OXFORD COMMUNITY SCHOOLS
GENERAL OBLIGATION UNLIMITED TAX BOND PROPOSAL FOR BUILDING AND SITE PURPOSES IN THE AMOUNT OF NOT TO EXCEED $32,735,000
Shall Oxford Community Schools, Oakland and Lapeer Counties, Michigan, borrow the sum of not to exceed Thirty-Two Million Seven Hundred Thirty-Five Thousand Dollars ($32,735,000) and issue its general obligation unlimited tax bonds therefor, for purposes of:
erecting, furnishing and equipping additions to and remodeling, furnishing and refurnishing, equipping and re-equipping school buildings; acquiring, installing and equipping and re-equipping school buildings for technology; constructing, equipping, developing and improving athletic facilities, a playfield, and playgrounds; and acquiring, developing and improving sites?
The following is for informational purposes only:
The estimated millage that will be levied for the proposed bonds in 2010, under current law, is 2.11 mills ($2.11 on each $1,000 of taxable valuation), for a zero (0.0) net increase in debt millage. The maximum number of years the bonds may be outstanding, exclusive of any refunding, is thirty (30) years. The estimated simple average annual millage anticipated to be required to retire this bond debt is 1.53 mills ($1.53 on each $1,000 of taxable valuation).
If the school district borrows from the State to pay debt service on the bonds, the school district may be required to continue to levy mills beyond the term of the bonds to repay the State.
(Pursuant to State law, expenditure of bond proceeds must be audited, and the proceeds cannot be used for repair or maintenance costs, teacher, administrator or employee salaries, or other operating expenses.)
OXFORD COMMUNITY SCHOOLS
GENERAL OBLIGATION UNLIMITED TAX BOND PROPOSAL FOR BUILDING AND SITE PURPOSES IN THE AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $635,000
Shall Oxford Community Schools, Oakland and Lapeer Counties, Michigan, borrow the sum of not to exceed Six Hundred Thirty-Five Thousand Dollars ($635,000) and issue its general obligation unlimited tax bonds therefore, for purposes of:
constructing a synthetic turf athletic field; constructing, equipping and furnishing a storage building at the high school athletic field; and developing and improving the site?
The following is for informational purposes only:
The estimated millage that will be levied for the proposed bonds in 2010, under current law, is 0.07 mill ($0.07 on each $1,000 of taxable valuation), for a zero (0.0) net increase in debt millage. The maximum number of years the bonds may be outstanding, exclusive of any refunding, is thirty (30) years. The estimated simple average annual millage anticipated to be required to retire this bond debt is 0.09 mill ($0.09 on each $1,000 of taxable valuation).

PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE THAT THE BONDS OF THE SCHOOL DISTRICT, IF APPROVED BY A MAJORITY VOTE OF THE ELECTORS AT THIS ELECTION, WILL BE GENERAL OBLIGATION UNLIMITED TAX BONDS PAYABLE FROM GENERAL
AD VALOREM TAXES.

RENEWAL OF ADVANCED LIFE SUPPORT MILLAGE
Shall the previous voted increase in the tax rate limitation on general ad valorem taxes as provided by law in the Charter Township of Oxford, Oakland County, Michigan, of 1.0 mill (1.0 mill being equal to $1.00 per $1,000 of state taxable value), be renewed at 1.0 mill for a period of five (5) years beginning with the December 2010 tax levy through the December 2014 tax levy for the purpose of providing operating funds for Advanced Life Support (ALS) services for the Charter Township of Oxford, and shall the Township levy an amount not to exceed such renewed millage for such purpose during this period which will raise in the first year if levied an estimated revenue of Eight Hundred Thirteen Thousand Seven Hundred Twenty-Five and 00/100 Dollars ($813,725.00) of which a portion will be disbursed to the Village of Oxford Downtown Development Authority?

RENEWAL OF FIRE AND EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES (EMS) MILLAGE
Shall the previous voted increase in the tax rate limitation on general ad valorem taxes as provided by law in the Charter Township of Oxford, Oakland County, Michigan, of 1.5 mills (1.5 mills being equal to $1.50 per $1,000 of state taxable value), be renewed at 1.5 mills for a period of five (5) years beginning with the December 2010 tax levy through the December 2014 tax levy for the purpose of providing operating funds for fire protection and emergency medical services for the Charter Township of Oxford, and shall the Township levy an amount not to exceed such renewed millage for such purpose during this period which will raise in the first year if levied an estimated revenue of One Million Two Hundred Twenty Thousand Five Hundred Eighty-Seven and 00/100 Dollars ($1,220,587.00) of which a portion will be disbursed to the Village of Oxford Downtown Development Authority.
