NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Orion Township Public Library Board of Trustees will hold a public heaing on Wednesday, January 10, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. in the meeting room of the Orion Township Public Library, located at 825 Joslyn Road, Lake Orion, Michigan 48362 on the following matter:
Proposed bond issue for expansion and renovation of the library.
Public comments and questions are welcome after a presentation of the need, preliminary design, and costs is given.

5. Requesting appearance on the Township Board of Trustees agenda for January 16, 2007 to ask for approval to be placed on the May 2007 ballot for a bond issue.
6. Approved acceptance of proposal from Andrews Hooper and Pavlik, PC. To conduct the 2006 audit and evaluate audit firms in July, 2007.
7. Approved proposed 2007 salary ranges.

5. Bids for producing the newsletter will be reviewed and a printer selected after the Spring issue of the newsletter.
6. Approved holding a strategic planning session, Saturday, February 23 from 12-4 p.m. with library board, members of staff, friends and public.
7. Human Resources Committee to meet Monday, February 28 at 5:00.
8. Approved motion that board is no longer planning to go for a bond issue in May 2008 due to the decline in the economy.
