The Orion Art Center hosts its 28th annual Gala, “A Night in Paris” on March 25.
The 2017 Gala is from 6 p.m. to midnight at Paint Creek Country Club, 2375 Stanton Rd.
This year’s event will include a premium cocktail reception, a gourmet dinner, dancing and a silent auction.
The event is one of the largest fundraisers for the Art Center and helps provide many outreach programs for the community, in addition to funding the nonprofit Art Center’s operations and program costs.
The Gala helps fund scholarships with the Art Center’s Joan Brace scholarships, funds kids summer camps, provides free community art exhibits and also helps with hosting the Dragon on the Lake festival in August.
“The community’s support is huge. Without local support, we cannot serve the community,” said Orion Art Center Board Member Alana Hart.
The Orion Art Center Gala Committee is also actively seeking donations for the event’s silent auction.
They are also seeking businesses interested in advertising in the Gala program or becoming sponsors as a “Partner for the Arts”. Donation or advertisement interest and forms can be sent to info@orionartcenter.org by March 18.
Tickets are currently $90 for individuals, $85 for Orion Art Center members and $680 for a table of eight. Tickets are limited and may be purchased at orionartcenter.org.
