The Veterans Tribute of Oakland Township will hold a Memorial Day Ceremony from 11 a.m. to noon on May 26 at the outdoor Tribute, 5236 Adams Rd., in Oakland Township.
The event is open to the public at no charge.
“During the ceremony, we will read aloud the names of veterans who died while in Service, followed by a ring of the new VTOT Memorial Bell,” said VTOT Director Timothy Reese.
Anyone wishing to honor a veteran in this way should send information to the VTOT email address info@vtotmi.org no later than May 22. Include the veteran’s first name, middle initial, last name, military rank, branch of service, date of death and campaign or war in which the servicemember died.
