People and pictures alike packed the studio at the Orion Art Center last Friday, when the winners of the 2007 All Media Show were announced.
Those who attended the show were able to view over 80 pieces of art created by individuals in and around the Orion Area.
The group gave top honors to Marnie Fender of Davisburg, as she was awarded with ‘Best of Show.?
First place went to photographer Carlos Gonzalez of Royal Oak, while second place was awarded to watercolor artist Lauren Everett Finn of Oxford.
Wood artist Rus Gordinier of Oxford took home third place honors.
Lake Orion High School junior Angela McBride and Lisa Burke Bruni were awarded honorable mentions.
The art show will be on exhibit at the Orion Art Center until April 6.
It will then travel to the Orion Township Public Library for viewing until May 15. Visitors to the art center can vote for the People’s Choice award until April 13th.
