North Sashabaw Elementary recently invited some very gifted students to create a mural.
During the summer vacation, a group of third and fourth graders gathered in the school’s art room to leave a lasting impression ? a mural inspired by themselves.
‘I had some ideas, but then so did the kids,? said North Sashabaw Elementary art teacher Miss Orahood. ‘It looks magical and has a lot of positive spirit.?
The students used traces of themselves to bring life to the mural; and after only four days, the 8-by-30 feet blank wall became an inspiration to all who participated.
‘It was fun and exciting,? said Stephanie Miller. ‘We did it together and that was fun.?
