Marianne Vennstrom passed peacefully at home on Tuesday, September 17, 2024. She was 89 years old.
Marianne was born in Birmingham, Michigan on December 2, 1934. She is predeceased by her husband, Karl Vennstrom, her son Kurt Vennstrom, and her grandson, Steven Crowder.

Marianne is survived by her daughters, Laura (Robert) Papazian, Mary (Eric) Gonda and special bonus daughter Raval (Jim) Conn, grandchildren Dominique (Melissa) Smith, Ali (Taylor) Murtha, Laura (Evan) Choinski, Eric Gonda; and great-grandchildren, Leo, Ruben and Matthew Alvarado and Sadie Murtha.
She will be missed by her dear friends Edith (Jim) Stone, Peggy (Kenny) Dahl and David (Lisa) Crowder.
Marianne was active in Girl Scouts for many years as a leader and a Day Camp Director. She was fearless, embarking on road trips from Michigan to Washington State and Nebraska to visit family.
She was known for doing small things with great love, touching many lives behind the scenes. She had a special heart for children.
Funeral services will be held at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, 111 E. Flint St., in Lake Orion on Sunday, October 13, 2024 at 1 p.m. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.
Memorials may be made to the Michigan Animal Rescue League in Pontiac (MARL).
