Man attacks woman’s vehicle

A 25-year-old East Lansing woman told the Oakland County Sheriff’s Department on July 8 that a man attacked her vehicle in the parking lot of Baldwin Commons.
According to the OCSD report, the woman said the white male, who was driving a blue Chrysler minivan, had pulled over to the curb near Babies R Us on Baldwin Road, so she passed him on the right.
The woman parked, and before she got out of her vehicle, she saw the man get out of the minivan and approach her. She said he was yelling at her for passing him, and started punching her driver’s side window.
The man punched the window several times and became angrier when it wouldn’t break. He then punched the outside mirror, shattering it. He left in the minivan, along with a white female inside, and went south on Baldwin.
The East Lansing woman was not injured and said she did not see the man’s license plate. The OCSD checked the area but were unable to located the suspect or any witnesses.
