Kari Mascar of Independence Township has enjoyed Taste of Clarkston for years, joining the crowd on downtown Main Street to sample the best dozens of local restaurants have to offer.
This year, the owner of Biggby Coffee will be on the other side of the counter.
“I’m pretty excited and nervous. I hope we don’t run out of food,” said Mascar, who will offer blended frozen drinks with flavors such as mint, pomegranate, and chocolate cookie, and other items.
“It’s so great. The number of people is unbelievable,” she said. “It’s going to be fun.”
“It’s a blast,” said Miranda Warriner, assistant manager of Culver’s of Clarkston, planning their second year at the Taste. “It was a great success last year.”
This time, they’ll offer their frozen custards at two stands, one on Main Street, the other in Depot Park.
