LOHS girls lacrosse team up 5 and 8

On Monday, May 11, the girls? varsity lacrosse team improved their record 5 and 8.
The girls played against Swartz Creek on Monday and won 8-7.
Ronnie Booth added two goals. Sarah Woodruff and Chelsey Booth each scored one goal. Sarah Cech had one goal and an assist.
Goalie Lindsay Butterfield played agressively and saved ten Swartz Creek shots.
Jodie Parker had one assist and scored three times. WIth three minutes left in the game, Parker scored the winning goal.
On Wednesday, May 13, Lake Orion hosted Rochester United (Stoney Creeks/Adams) at Lake Orion High School. Wednesday was senior night and eight of the Lady Dragon’s players were honored.
The Varsity girls lost a heart-breaker by a score of 6-5. Rochester United scored the winning goal with just two seconds remaining on the clock.
Lake Orion had come back from a 4-1 deficit, scoring four goals in the time it took Rochester United to scored two more and win the game.
Goalie Lindsay Butterfield saved ten shots on the net. Sarah Woodruff scored two goals for Lake Orion. Chelsey Booth, Jodie Parker, and Ronnie Booth each scored once.
The girls? next game will be held at Lake Orion High School on Wednesday, May 20. They will be playing against Troy at 7pm. This is the last game until playoffs begin.
