A local AAU volleyball team was crowned June 5 at the conclusion of the Michigan Junior Volleyball Association state championships in Grand Rapids. The 13-under ‘MOJO-Jack? team from the Clarkston area won the state crown at Sparta Ridgeview School in Grand Rapids. The MOJO team took the state title in the two-day tournament, the largest AAU event in the country. The girls hard work and play paid off in the final event.
