The luck of the Irish was with Chris Tucker on St. Patrick’s Day, as the Brandon Township resident rolled an impressive 805 series. (The highest points achievable in a series is 900). Tucker was at the Cherry Hill Bowling Lanes in Clarkston, bowling as he often does with his Sanction League ‘Bucks and Does,? when he bowled his first game of 216, a second game of 290, and completed the series with a 299.
‘This is the highest I have ever bowled,? said Tucker, a Brandon High School graduate.
‘Before my 805 series on Monday I had only bowled a 734, so I blew my last record out of the water. It is very rare for someone to bowl over an 800 series, you’re more likely to bowl a 300 game.?
Tucker has been bowling in leagues for the past five years, but he has been bowling since he was young with his parents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. ‘Bowling is something fun to do in the winter. In the summer I play other sports, such as tennis, softball, and golf. But in the winter you are cooped up inside, so bowling is a good activity.?
