Local man searches for three angels

Brandon Twp.-After an accident in which he rolled his vehicle over twice, an Ortonville man is looking for the ‘three angels? who rescued him.
David Clasman, 81, was driving westbound on Oakwood Road near Sashabaw Road around 8 p.m. on Jan. 10 when he hit a patch of black ice and slid down an embankment rolling his tan Montana minivan over twice.
Clasman was wearing a seatbelt, which he credited with saving his life. He said he was hanging from the ceiling, with the roof of the van caved in and windows broken when his three angels arrived.
Using a flashlight, they helped him find his glasses, climb out the side window and through 6 inches of mud, ice and water helped him climb the embankment.
‘If it hadn’t been for them, I might still be down there,? Clasman said.
The good samaritans led Clasman to one of their vehicles where he sat inside to keep warm until a Brandon Township deputy arrived.
Shocked and dazed from the accident, Clasman said he can’t describe his angels very well. He referred to them as young ladies, but said, ‘I’m 81, so anything under that is young.? He believes they were in their 20s or 30s.
Clasman, who was bruised but is otherwise fine, is hoping they will come forward so he can show his gratitude.
‘They were truly my three guardian angels,? he said. ‘I will forever be grateful to them for their kindness.?
Clasman can be contacted at (248) 627-2935.
