Local charity whinnies with Vincent Van Whoa auction

The final pieces of art for the Vincent Van Whoa show just need a few last whisker strokes.
The public unveiling of artwork conceived by the therapeutic riding horses of O.A.T.S. (Offering Alternative Therapy with Smiles) is set for Nov. 17 from 6-9 p.m. at Frames ‘n? Art at 5889 Dixie Road.
An auction of the original watercolors by O.A.T.S.? stable of artisans, with proceeds benefiting the nonprofit 501 c3 charity, highlights the wine and cheese affair.
The auction helps O.A.T.S. continue providing special needs children and adults with special health and developmental needs through an unique form of therapy which, through horseback riding, gives them the opportunity to improve their quality of life.
O.A.T.S. is located at 3090 Weidemann Drive, just north on M-15, in Clarkston.
