LO police looking for bank robber

Lake Orion police are searching for a bank robber that stole an undisclosed amount of cash from the TCF Bank (471 S. Broadway) shortly after 6 p.m. on Friday.
Police described the man as six-feet tall and mid-20s to 30s in age, with straight brown hair pulled into a banded collar length pony tail along with a slight moustache.
He entered the bank and approached a teller, displaying a note demanding cash. The man did not speak and, after receiving the cans, left on foot, to the north east.
A tracking dog lost the man’s scent on roadway to the north of the bank. No vehicles or accomplices were observed.
The man was wearing a tan, half zip fleece pullover, with a t-shirt underneath, a dark-blue plain base ball hat, blue nylon jogging pants with wide gold stripe on the outside of his legs and white or tan tennis shoes.
No weapon was seen or implied and the man did not leave his note behind.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Lake Orion Police Department dispatch center at (248)693-8321.
