Little G’s Pizza & Deli owner sentenced

Little G’s Pizza & Deli owner, William Moonan, 46, was sentenced on Jan. 27 by Genesee County 7th Circuit Judge Judith Fullerton to 100 days in the county jail, with restitution of $13,892, court costs and 60 months probation. He pleaded guilty on Dec. 23, 2013 to two counts of using a financial transaction device to steal/retain money $1,000-$20,000 without consent. According to the Genesee County Prosecutors office, Moonan used customers credit and debt cards fraudulently, charging as much as $5,000 on a single card.
Moonan, who was arrested in October 2013, was facing three felony counts of using a financial transaction device to steal/retain without consent; however, through a plea bargain those charges were reduced to two counts. In addition, the court will not seek habitual offender status. Moonan will receive credit for the 64 days he has served in jail. Moonan opened Little G’s Pizza & Deli, 8339 S. State St. (M-15) Goodrich in November 2010.
