With a deadlocked, three-three vote, the Lake Orion Community School Board did not pass a tentative contract with local teachers, Wednesday night.
“I want it on the record,” schools superintendent Marion Ginopolis said, “I am disappointed this did not pass. I deeply regret it.”
Half of the 40-plus people in the audience left the meeting after the failed vote.
