The Oxford varsity girls softball team lost both games to Linden Monday night, leaving them with a 9-16 overall record and a 2-10 Flint Metro League record.
In game one, the pitcher for Linden threw a no-hitter, but freshman second baseman Chelsea Kessler was able to score two runs for the team.
The Wildcats ended game one with a 10-2 loss.
In game two, freshman third baseman Allie Laidlaw was 1 for 3 and scored one run, senior captain Amanda Jolly was 1 for 2 and scored one run, freshman pitcher Corrine Luxton was 1 for 3 and senior pitcher Sarah Mersino was 1 for 3.
The Wildcats ended game two with a 6-2 loss. The girls travel to Lapeer West on Thursday for a 4 p.m. game.
