After a ‘Jekyl and Hyde performance? against Flint Kearsley last Thursday, the Oxford varsity softball team still wasn’t able to improve their performance against Brandon on Monday.
At Flint, the girls ended their first game with an 0-10 loss and numerous pitching errors. The second game was little better, with a 2-1 win.
On Monday, Oxford had to deal with high winds on their home turf against Brandon. The girls fell 13-3 in the first game and 13-2 in the second.
‘It was complete and total collapse of fundamentals,? Coach Sue Roeher said. ‘Brandon is a good team and you have to be on your game to beat them.?
The Wildcat’s overall record is 5-5 and are 0-2 in the FML. They travel to Swartz Creek on Thursday for a 4 p.m. game.
