Labor Day Parade

Clarkston Rotary Club sponsors the parade, 10 a.m., Monday, Sept. 5. Newman is sponsored by Bowman Chevrolet.
Rotary invites groups, organizations, businesses, musical groups, marching bands, floats, equestrian groups, and children and families on decorated bikes to march. Political candidates interested in marching in the parade will be asked to make a $50 charitable donation to Clarkston Rotary Club.
Parade route is Church Street to Main Street, north through downtown Clarkston to Miller Road.

Preparations are underway for Clarkston’s Labor Day Parade, 10 a.m., Monday, Sept. 5.

Clarkston Rotary Club hosts the Clarkston Labor Day Parade, 10-11 a.m., Monday, Sept. 1. The traditional end of summer parade is seeking floats, classic cars, community service organizations, musical groups, local businesses, political candidates, families, and equestrian riders. The parade kicks off from Renaissance High School on Waldon Road to Main Street, north to Miller Road, ending at Miller and Holcomb roads. Plans for the Labor Day parade are underway. Parade-goers can expect to see classic cars and the Clarkston High School band perform.
The Rotary Club has approximately 30 entries for the parade already, and they will accept entries up to two days before the event, Sept. 3 at 10 a.m.
The parade will begin at Renaissance High School and end at St. Daniel’s Catholic Church.
