Brandon’s girls golf team began their season on the right foot, defeating Waterford Our Lady of the Lakes 244-287 on April 7 at Silver Lake in Waterford.
Laura Kwiatkowski led the Blackhawks with a round of 46. Casey Nesterowich followed with a 64, while Grace Kemeny shot 66.
Rounding out Brandon’s scoring were Becca Scherer and Tiffany Harding, who each notched 68.
